Congressman Rick W. Allen has announced that his office will hold Community Office Hours throughout Georgia's 12th District in December. These sessions aim to assist constituents with federal issues, such as navigating agencies like FEMA, Social Security, Veterans Affairs, and Medicare. Congressman Allen will not attend these events.
In a statement following the announcement, Congressman Allen said: "I invite anyone seeking help with a federal issue to take advantage of the one-on-one services my office provides. If you need assistance dealing with a federal agency, our dedicated caseworkers stand ready to help you. Please visit my team during Community Office Hours in December or contact one of our district offices for more information."
The Community Office Hours are scheduled across various counties where Congressman Allen does not have a permanent office. The dates and locations include Burke County on December 17th at the County Commission Boardroom; Candler County on December 11th at Metter City Hall; Columbia County on December 5th at Grovetown City Hall; Effingham County on December 5th at Effingham County Chamber of Commerce; Emanuel County on December 16th at The Charlie Oglesby Memorial Welcome Center; Evans County on December 11th at Claxton City Hall; Glascock County on December 12th at Family Connection and Communities in Schools; Jefferson County on December 12th at Community Clubhouse; Jenkins County on December 5th at Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce; Johnson County on December 5th at Wrightsville City Hall.
Additional locations include Lincoln County on December 5th at Lincoln County Courthouse; McDuffie County on December 4th at McDuffie County Administrative Building; Montgomery County on December 16th at Montgomery County Courthouse; Screven County on December 5th at Screven County Courthouse, Commission Boardroom; Tattnall County on December 11th at Glennville Welcome Center/Chamber of Commerce.
Further sessions will be held in Treutlen Country Commissioners Office (December 16), Warren Country Chamber of Commerce (December 4), Sandersville City Hall (December 5), Alamo City Hall (December16), and Washington Wilkes Chamber of Commerce (December5).
