Chatham County issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, Chatham County will begin constructing a box culvert at 103 Gilliam Avenue. Gilliam Avenue will be closed to thru traffic at this location in both directions. Detour signs will be posted. The closure is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM and last 60 days.
