Augusta Technical College issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
Augusta Technical College employees gathered together to celebrate the retirement of Vice President of Administrative Services Mrs. Sheila Hill.
Mrs. Hill started at the college as a student in the Accounting program in 1995. Due to her advanced skillset and amazing work ethic, she was hired as an employee and worked as an Accounting Technician at the Thomson Campus. After a few years, she came back to the Augusta Campus and worked as the Director of Accounting. In 2011, she took the position of Vice President of Administrative Services and even served a stint as Interim President from December 2020 to October 2021.
Her calm and steadfast leadership will be truly missed, but once an Augusta Tech Cougar, always an Augusta Tech Cougar. Happy retirement!
