Greenbrier High School issued the following announcement on Feb. 3.
We were privileged to have the opportunity of Judge Evans and Ms. Poss from the Columbia County juvenile court visit and speak to Greenbrier’s Law and Safety, Mock Trial, and Model UN students.
The focus was Teen Court- “a program in which juvenile offenders are questioned, defended, and sentenced by their peers,” (Columbia County Community Connections). Students who desired to learn more were offered flyers and encouraged to continue educating themselves on the topic.
It is a great program for any student who may be interested in a career in law or law enforcement. Please see ccc4kids.org/teen-court for more information!
