Graduates earn 265 degrees, certificates from Miller-Motte Technical College-Augusta

About 46 percent of the 265 degrees and certificates handed out by Miller-Motte Technical College-Augusta in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Augusta conferred 83 associate's degrees and 39 certificates in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in truck and bus driver/commercial vehicle operator and instructor. Data shows the school gave out 117 certificates in truck and bus driver/commercial vehicle operator and instructor, followed by 52 associate's degrees in medical/clinical assistant and 31 associate's degrees in health information/medical records technology/technician.

The college enrolled 495 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
