Born November 2, 1945
Larry Little was born on November 2, 1945, in Grovetown, Georgia. He played college football at Bethune–Cookman University. He went undrafted in 1967 but signed with the San Diego Chargers. In 1969, he was traded to the Miami Dolphins. He became a key member of the Dolphins’ offensive line during the 1970s. He played in three Super Bowls and was part of the undefeated 1972 season. He was selected to five Pro Bowls. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993. After his playing career, he coached at Bethune–Cookman and North Carolina Central. His early years in Grovetown mark the beginning of his path. He remains known for his role in one of the NFL’s most successful teams.
