Columbia County Roads and Bridges Department wishes to inform the driving public of a temporary sidewalk and crosswalk closure on William Few Parkway. The sidewalk / crosswalk closure will be between the intersections of Windwood Street and Leyland Lane. Due to construction of a left on William Few Parkway the closure will be from Saturday, October 8, 2022, to Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Weather permitting. There will be a temporary crosswalk to cross William Few Parkway at Windwood Street.
At times there will be short, intermittent lane closures on William Few Parkway at this location.
Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; watch for advanced warning signs; obey road crew flaggers; and expect the unexpected. If possible, please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting during this timeframe.
