Following May 25, 2023  unanimous Supreme Court ruling in favor of Michael and Chantell Sackett in the Sackett v. Environmental Protection Agency case, Congressman Rick W. Allen (GA-12) issued the statement below:

“Georgia-12 farmers, producers, and landowners received a much-needed win yesterday with the Supreme Court ruling in favor of Michael and Chantell Sackett. This ruling should send a clear message to the Biden administration to vacate their overreaching Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) definition immediately and that property rights should be respected.”
