Congressman Rick W. Allen has announced the availability of positions for the 2025 Summer Internship Program in his Washington, D.C. office. The program is aimed at college students and young professionals who wish to learn about the legislative process and support congressional office functions.
Interns will engage in tasks such as constituent outreach and legislative writing, with an option to earn school credit. The summer internships are divided into two six-week sessions running from May to August 2025. Applications must be submitted through Congressman Allen's website by Friday, February 28, 2025.
Congressman Allen expressed enthusiasm about the program: “Working in a congressional office provides a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience into how our government operates and network with individuals from all walks of life. In our office, we employ a bottom-up approach to empower others to be the best they can be. Many of our past interns have used the skills gained during their internships to transition into a variety of successful career paths. My staff and I look forward to welcoming these talented young professionals in the coming months.”
