Today, Congressman Rick W. Allen attended the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States. Following the ceremony, Congressman Allen shared his thoughts on the event.

"It was an honor to witness 45 become 47 today as President Trump once again took the oath of office," he stated. He expressed optimism about moving past what he described as "weak and ineffective leadership" under the previous administration and looked forward to implementing an "America First agenda."

During his inaugural address, President Trump presented his vision for uniting the country and fulfilling what he termed a mandate from the American people. Congressman Allen emphasized readiness to work with Republican majorities in both houses of Congress under Trump's leadership.

"I am excited about what the future holds and do not take the task ahead of us lightly," Allen concluded.
