Congressman Rick W. Allen of Georgia's 12th District has announced that his office will conduct Community Office Hours throughout February. These sessions are intended to assist constituents with federal issues, including interactions with agencies such as FEMA, Social Security, Veterans Affairs, and Medicare. Congressman Allen himself will not be present at these events.
In a statement following the announcement, Congressman Allen said, "I invite anyone seeking help with a federal issue to take advantage of the one-on-one services my office provides. If you need assistance dealing with a federal agency, our dedicated caseworkers stand ready to help you. Please visit my team during Community Office Hours in February or contact one of our district offices for more information."
The Community Office Hours will be held across various counties where Congressman Allen does not have a permanent office. The schedule includes:
- Burke County: February 11th from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the County Commission Boardroom in Waynesboro.
- Candler County: February 12th from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Metter City Hall.
- Columbia County: February 19th from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Grovetown City Hall.
- Effingham County: February 12th from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce in Springfield.
- Emanuel County: February 10th from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Swainsboro-Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce.
- Evans County: February 19th from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Claxton City Hall.
- Glascock County: February 19th from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Communities in Schools in Gibson.
- Jefferson County: February 19th from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Community Club House in Wrens.
- Jenkins County: February 12th from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce in Millen.
- Johnson County: February 10th from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM at Wrightsville City Hall.
- Lincoln County: February 19th from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Lincoln County Courthouse in Lincolnton.
