Congressman Rick W. Allen of Georgia's 12th district has expressed his support for Representative Mike Johnson, who has been elected as Speaker of the House for the 119th Congress. In a statement released today, Allen highlighted Johnson's leadership qualities and his ability to guide the Republican conference despite having a slim majority.

Allen stated, "I was proud to support Mike Johnson for Speaker of the House today. Mike is a dear friend, man of faith, and principled leader who has successfully guided the Republican conference with a slim majority—an exceedingly difficult task in today's political climate."

He also aligned himself with former President Donald Trump's endorsement of Johnson, saying, "I agree with President Trump that Speaker Johnson has proven he is the right man for the job, and I am confident he will continue to deliver conservative victories in the 119th Congress."

Allen emphasized the urgency of their legislative agenda by stating, "We have no time to waste and must immediately get to work on enacting President Trump's America First agenda."
