Congressman Rick W. Allen has announced the opening of applications for the 2025 Spring Internship Program in his Washington, D.C. office. The program targets college students and young professionals eager to learn about legislative processes and assist with congressional office duties.

Interns will engage in various tasks such as constituent outreach and legislative writing, with an option to earn school credit. The internship period runs from January to May 2025, with specific dates provided during interviews. Applications must be submitted through Congressman Allen's website by November 20, 2024.

In a statement, Congressman Allen emphasized the value of the experience: "Working in a congressional office provides a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience into how our government operates and network with individuals from all walks of life. In our office, we employ a bottom-up approach to empower others to achieve their full potential. Many of our past interns have used the skills gained during their internships to transition into a variety of successful career paths. My staff and I look forward to welcoming these talented young professionals in the coming months."

Interested applicants can apply online and direct inquiries to Heath Wheat at Heath.Wheat@mail.house.gov.
