5.7% of citizens unemployed in Screven County in 2021

Screven County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 344 people out of the 14,028 living in Screven County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Screven County has decreased compared to the 6.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Screven County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.5%.

Of the 5,728 people who had a job during that time, 37 were employed in the Armed Forces and 5,691 belonged to the civilian labor force.
