Columbia County, in cooperation with Beam’s Construction, wishes to inform the driving public of intermittent, temporary lane closures with lane shifts on Sugar Creek Drive. The lane closures will be from 440 Sugar Creek Drive to 480 Sugar Creek Drive (Columbia County Fire Station 7). Due to paving, the temporary lane closures will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. starting Wednesday, October 19, 2022, through Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Expect delays. Please seek an alternate route if possible.
Cleaning of the roadway will take place so there could be dust at times.
Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; watch for advanced warning signs; obey road crew flaggers; and expect the unexpected. If possible, please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting during this timeframe.
