Congratulations to the 2022 Augusta Technical College Practical Nursing students. The students celebrated their pinning ceremony on the Augusta Campus in the Information Technology Center Auditorium with family and friends. The welcome remarks were made by program instructor Demetrial Chandler, with an invocation from the Dean of School and Health Sciences Dr. Kristie Searcy, and opening remarks were made by Augusta Tech President Dr. Jermaine Whirl.
A heartfelt reflection was given by Class President Fetamia Lane and Stephanie McCoy, SPN who beautifully introduced the speaker of the evening, former Augusta Tech Alumnus Briatta Williams of Piedmont Augusta. We are so proud of our graduates, and we are thankful for the work they will do out in the workforce. Go Cougars! #ThankANurse #CougarNation
