Columbia County issued the following announcement on June 22.
Columbia County, in cooperation with E.R. SNELL, wishes to inform the driving public of a temporary lane closure with lane shift on Lewiston Road. The lane closure will be at the intersection with Columbia Road. The lane closure will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. starting Monday, June 27, 2022, to Friday, July 01, 2022. Expect delays. Please seek an alternate route if possible.
The temporary lane closure is associated with the roadway-widening project for Lewiston Road.
Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; watch for advanced warning signs; obey road crew flaggers; and expect the unexpected. If possible, please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting during this timeframe.
