A message from the Commander about MHS Genesis
Dear Patient,
I am excited to announce our transition to a new electronic health record, Military Health System Genesis, commonly known as MHS-Genesis. This new system allows your records to be easily accessed and shared throughout the hospital and throughout the Department of Defense. Eisenhower Army Medical Center will begin using this new electronic health record June 11.
Please note, during this period of transition from June through August, you may experience longer waits to receive health care services. You can anticipate reduced appointment availability as well as increased wait times for pharmacy refills, laboratory and radiology procedures, and results. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Prior to June 11, please create a DS Logon account or upgrade your existing DS Logon to a premium account by going to 
www.myaccess.dmdc.osd.mil.
Premium Account access through your DS Logon is required to access the Patient Portal where you can make appointments, speak with your provider via secure messaging, view records and referrals, renew prescriptions, and much more. A step-by-step guide is available on our website:

You should continue to use Tricareonline.com as your Patient Portal, and we will switch to the MHS-Genesis Patient Portal on June 11. We additionally recommend that prior to June 11, you prepare yourself by printing any referral authorizations you have received and booking appointments for routine/chronic care now.
