Columbia County issued the following announcement on May 12.
Columbia County, in cooperation with Beam’s Construction, wishes to inform the driving public of intermittent, temporary lane closure(s) with lane shift in the Barrington Subdivision. Due to paving, the following roads will have lane closures: Granite Way, Ihnen Ct., Pineview Ct., Granite Way, Creek Bluff, Stonewood Ct., Stonebrook Dr., Lakestone Ct., and, Lakestone Way. The temporary lane closure(s) will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. starting Monday, May 16, 2022 , through Monday, May 30, 2022. Expect delays. Please seek an alternate route if possible.When the lane closure is in effect traffic will be controlled by flaggers on each end of the lane closure.
Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; watch for advanced warning signs; obey road crew flaggers; and expect the unexpected. If possible, please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting during this timeframe.
