CITY OF AUGUSTA: Recycle Scrap Tires On May 21

City of Augusta issued the following announcement on May 10.

Augusta Environmental Services is holding a scrap tire recycling event on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 8am to 12pm at the Augusta-Richmond County Landfill, 4330 Deans Bridge Rd.

Richmond County residents may bring an unlimited amount of automotive tires.
Individuals can recycle unwanted scrap tires free of charge during this event.
Tires may be on or off the rim.
Tires will not be accepted from businesses or commercial customers. Business vehicles are not permitted.
Must provide proof of Richmond County residency.

As a reminder, scrap tires are not picked up during curbside collections.
