Of the 978 people living in Sardis in 2020, 58 percent (567) were women and 42 percent (411) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the East Central Georgia News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 33. In the 65 and over age range, there were 132 females and 62 males.
