Of the 2,327 people living in Sylvania in 2020, 60.1 percent (1,399) were women and 39.9 percent (928) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the East Central Georgia News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 159. In the 65 and over age range, there were 486 females and 228 males.
