Jefferson Hospital issued the following announcement on Mar. 24.

Jefferson Hospital would like to invite you to participate in the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment. A Community Health Needs Assessment is an IRS requirement that tax-exempt hospital are required to complete every 3 years. Jefferson Hospital is partnering with Georgia Southern University’s Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health to complete this requirement.

An assessment will also help to identify vulnerable populations, local assets and what additional resources are needed as well as the community’s preferences and support of local healthcare services.  We will also follow up what information was found in the last survey from 2019.
