Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
Congratulations to our STAR Students and STAR Teachers! JCHS STAR Student Cordelia Gillenwater chose Mr. Todd Dyer as her STAR Teacher. TJA STAR Student Katrina Hennessy chose Mr. Terence Hennessy as her STAR Teacher. Katrina was also named county-wide STAR Student!
Katrina will represent Jefferson County in the Region 7 STAR Student ceremony. The region winner then competes at the State level against other region winners.
Both Cordelia and Katrina have bright futures ahead!
