County of Columbia issued the following announcement on Dec. 27.
Columbia County offices will be closed Friday, December 31 for the New Year's holiday. All county libraries (Evans, Grovetown, and Harlem) will be closed Friday, December 31 through Sunday, January 2 with book drops locked to prevent overfilling.
All county offices and libraries will resume normal business operations on Monday, January 3, 2022.
