EISENHOWER ARMY MEDICAL CENTER: Eisenhower Army Medical Center observes Holiday Season

Eisenhower Army Medical Center issued the following announcement on Dec. 23.

In honor of the national observance of Christmas and New Year, Eisenhower Army Medical Center will observe the federal holiday Friday, Dec. 24 and a training day, Monday, Dec. 27. The New Year training day will be Dec. 31 and the federal holiday will be observed Jan. 3. 

Eisenhower continues to observe the CDC-recommended guidelines for public health during the COVID-19 pandemic response. For the training day, Dec. 27, the Family Medicine Clinic, now located in the temporary facilities adjacent to the ILI Clinic in the staff parking lot, will be open with a limited number of appointments available. The Internal Medicine Clinic will be open 8 a.m. to noon. Connelly and Huber Health clinics open 7 a.m. to noon for scheduled appointments only. No sick call.

PX Pharmacy operating hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dec.24. The Hospital Pharmacy hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 24. Both pharmacies will be closed for the federal holiday, Dec. 25.

The Influenza-like Illness clinic, located next to the Family Medicine Clinic, will be closed Saturday and Sunday.

The hospital is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for emergency services and inpatient care. 

For medical issues that don’t require emergency care, you may contact your primary care provider through the secure message center, accessed through the TRICARE Online patient portal at www.TRICAREonline.com, or by calling the Nurse Advise Line at 1-800-874-2273, option 1.

The central appointment line will be closed for the Thanksgiving federal holiday, but appointments may be scheduled or canceled 24 hours a day, seven days a week at www.TRICAREonline.com.
