City of Augusta issued the following announcement on Nov. 1.
The Homeless Task Force Action Committee is developing strategies to identify and address barriers and issues faced by persons experiencing homelessness in Augusta-Richmond County. This comprehensive approach will help ensure that homelessness is prevented whenever possible, or if it can’t be prevented, that it is rare, brief and non-reoccurring. As we work to create the best community response possible, we need feedback from stakeholders like you. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey and share your thoughts and ideas with us. Your feedback matters.
