Chatham County issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
Chatham County Animal Services Shelter will be closed on to the public on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Staff will attend the Wag-O-Ween event at Pulaski Square (Barnard Street between West Charlton and West Harris Streets) with animals available for adoption from Animal Services.
