City of Augusta issued the following announcement on Sept. 3.
The Richmond County Marshal's Office had teamed up with the Savannah Riverkeeper, Keep Augusta Beautiful, & ARC Traffic & Engineering to launch the LEAVE THE LITTER OUT OF THE RIVER SIGN DESIGN CONTEST. This is your chance to design litter signs for your community & help decrease the amount of litter making its way into our local waterways.
This contest is open until Sept. 9. Beginning September 10-23, the public will vote for the top 10 designs.
If your design is chosen, it will be installed in Richmond County in October 2021.
