County of Burke issued the following announcement on Aug. 18.
Burke County Schools sees a real need, especially following the trials of the pandemic, to rally our parents and community stakeholders to partner with us. In an effort to encourage volunteers to come forward and stakeholders to partner in supporting BCPS, we are proud to host our first Build-A-Bear Volunteer Fair! During this event, stations will be set up to recruit volunteers and offer them opportunities to complete required volunteer packets. We will also share information pertaining to Title I, district initiatives, and our current offerings with our parents and stakeholders. dskinner@burke.k12.ga.us
