City of Augusta issued the following announcement on Aug. 6.
Kissingbower Road will be closed between White Road and Leeway Landing to install storm drainage. Closure will begin Tuesday August 10 and will conclude Friday August 13 at 5 o'clock pm. TRAVELING PUBLIC SHOULD AVOID AREA. Residents will have access to their property. If there any questions please call Augusta Engineering Department at (706) 796-5040
Detour Route: Milledgeville Road to Olive Road to White Road.
