Appling ranked 577th in Georgia for resident earnings in 2019

Appling ranked 577th among cities in Georgia by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Appling residents was $14,406 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 311 households with a population of 921.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Dutch Island with $80,163 per year after adjusting for inflation – $65,757 more than Appling. It had 420 households with a population of 1,162.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Davisboro with $2,499 per year after adjusting for inflation – $11,907 less than Appling. It had 177 households with a population of 1,983.
