Savannah Chatham County Public School System issued the following announcement on June 15. 

The Board of Public Education for the City of Savannah and the County of Chatham will hold a public hearing on its Fiscal Year 2023 Recommended Budget on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, immediately following the 6:00 p.m. millage rate hearing. The hearing will be held in the Jessie Collier DeLoach Board Room at the Whitney Administrative Complex, 2 Laura Street. All citizens and employees are invited to attend and provide the Board with oral comments concerning the proposed budget. Please call the Board Office at 912-395-5534 or email Mary.Davis-Brown@sccpss.com no later than 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, if you would like to be included on the agenda to provide comments. Public access will also be made possible via Livestreaming through SCCPSS.com or the district’s YouTube Channel (http://www.youtube.com/sccpsscommunications). The Board’s previously announced Special Called Meeting on June 22, 2022 will begin at the announced time of 6:30 p.m. or immediately following the Public Hearing on the FY23 Budget.
