Rick W. Allen, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 12th District since 2015, has been actively sharing his views and initiatives on social media. Born in Augusta, Georgia, Allen is an Auburn University alumnus with a long-standing political career.

On February 11, 2025, Allen expressed his support for Governor Kemp’s request for a FEMA reimbursement extension. “I am fully supportive of @GovKemp’s request for a 60-day extension for 100% FEMA reimbursement for Public Assistance following Hurricane Helene,” he stated. He emphasized the benefit this would bring to all counties across Georgia’s 12th district and mentioned his ongoing communication with the White House and FEMA.

The following day, February 12, Allen celebrated Georgia Day by expressing gratitude for his home state. “Blessed to call the Peach State home, happy Georgia Day!” he tweeted.

Later that day, Allen commented on border security improvements under President Trump’s administration. “Known gotaways at the southern border are DOWN 93 PERCENT under President Trump,” he noted, highlighting efforts to restore law and order.
