Columbia County Water Utility would like to notify the residents in Silver Lakes and Woodbridge that they will be in your subdivision this week (February 20-24, 2023) between 7 AM and 5 PM verifying water service line types.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is requiring Public Water Systems across the country to verify the type of water line leaving the water meter and entering the customer’s house for homes built before 1990. You may see Water Utility employees in your neighborhood looking in meter boxes to make this determination.
