Columbia County issued the following announcement on June 22.

Columbia County, in cooperation with Gearig Inc., wishes to inform the driving public of a temporary lane closure with lane shift on Blackstone Camp Road. The temporary lane closure will be ±1,500’ east of River Island Pkwy, due to road construction. The lane closure will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on, Monday, June 27, 2022. Expect delays. Please seek an alternate route if possible.

Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; watch for advanced warning signs; obey road crew flaggers; and expect the unexpected. If possible, please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting during this timeframe.
