City of Augusta issued the following announcement on Apr. 11. 

The Sand Hills Community Center is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 12 and under on Saturday, April 16, from 11:30am-2:30pm. Children under the age of 5 have a separate area for their hunt. The Easter bunny will come for a visit, and staff will have games and music for the kids. Admission is free, and will be held at the Sand Hills Park at 2540 Wheeler Road. For more information, call 706-842-1912 or email IDixon@augustaga.gov
