Student enrollment in Burke County’s only school district fell by 1.6% in the 2024-25 school year.

A total of 1,857 students were enrolled in Jenkins County School District in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

For the 2024-25 school year, Wilkes County School District experienced an increase in enrollment numbers compared to the previous year, with 37 more students enrolled.

For the 2024-25 school year, Warren County School District experienced a decrease in enrollment numbers compared to the previous year, with 25 fewer students enrolled.

A total of 159 students were enrolled in Taliaferro County School District in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

For the 2024-25 school year, Richmond County School District experienced a decrease in enrollment numbers compared to the previous year, with 550 fewer students enrolled.

For the 2024-25 school year, McDuffie County School District experienced a decrease in enrollment numbers compared to the previous year, with 53 fewer students enrolled.

For the 2024-25 school year, Lincoln County School District experienced an increase in enrollment numbers compared to the previous year, with 19 more students enrolled.

A total of 1,882 students were enrolled in Jefferson County School District in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.
