The Augusta, Georgia Government Compliance Department announced on April 2 that it will hold its second Bid and Contract Readiness Workshop for small business owners. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Accelerate Augusta, located at 600 Broad Street in Augusta.
The workshop aims to help local entrepreneurs learn how to compete for contracts and expand their businesses by providing practical tools and strategies. According to the announcement, the session will cover the basics of becoming bid and contract ready, identifying suitable opportunities, responding confidently to invitations such as ITBs (Invitations to Bid), RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFQs (Requests for Quotations), and avoiding common pricing mistakes.
“Whether you are just getting started or looking to expand, this workshop will provide the insight and strategies needed to strengthen decision-making and position your business for long-term success,” organizers said in a statement.
