Augusta Technical College issued the following announcement on Feb. 19.

Congratulations to Mrs. Devlynn Taylor on being named as one of four regional finalists for Georgia’s 2022 Adult Education Outstanding Teacher of the Year! In addition to Mrs. Taylor, the three finalists are:
Mr. Sean Denmark from Georgia Piedmont Technical College  (formerly DeKalb Technical College)
Ms. Yolanda Usry from Gwinnett Technical College    
Ms. Judy Abell from Southern Regional Technical College    
On Monday, February 28, these regional finalists will move on to a virtual interview with a state-level selection committee for the final round of judging. The TCSG – Technical College System of Georgia will honor and celebrate the regional finalists along with all of the Adult Education Teacher of the Year nominees with special recognition activities and enriching professional development on March 14-15 in Atlanta. The celebration will culminate with a dinner on Tuesday evening when the 2022 Outstanding Adult Education Teacher of the Year will be officially named. Congratulations Mrs. Taylor, and good luck to all the finalists. Go Cougars!
