The Augusta Juvenile Court is set to honor eleven students who have completed significant educational milestones at a graduation ceremony on March 12. The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. and will recognize students for their achievements through the THRIVE program and other initiatives.
Several of the graduates earned their General Educational Development (GED) credentials through the THRIVE program, while one student completed his GED via Youth Challenge. Five additional students will receive their high school diplomas.
Chief Judge Bias of the Augusta Judicial Circuit Juvenile Court stated, “Each of these students represents the power of opportunity and support. Through programs like THRIVE, we are able to walk alongside our youth, helping them recognize their potential and encouraging them to pursue brighter futures.”
The ceremony aims to highlight not only the accomplishments of the students but also the ongoing work of the THRIVE staff in supporting youth within the community. Their efforts focus on mentorship, advocacy, and providing daily support to help young people achieve academic success and personal growth.
Community members, partners, and supporters have been invited to attend and celebrate both the graduates and those who guided them toward this milestone.
